Mural at Chautauqua Mall

On behalf of Summit: ‘Mural Wall’ initiative and Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood, New York, I was selected as the first artist at this location to design and paint a public mural.

This interior mural was painted on four glass panels of a storefront in the center of the mall.

My original design, titled ‘Breezy’, features my signature single-line flowers within a whimsical nature scene. I chose to create an art piece that would draw attention, bring about joyful interaction and act as a reminder that spring will be here soon.

With a colorful paint palette and use of my unique, abstract-influenced, painterly lines; I created momentum and liveliness. These details add vibration to the outline of each element, thus placing emphasis on the energy that nature holds and ultimately gives back to us.
